为深入贯彻习近平生态文明思想，积极响应北京花园城市建设部署，进一步提升园林学子及行业从业人员的设计创新能力与实践建造能力，弘扬精益求精的工匠精神，2026年全国大学生花园设计建造竞赛自即日起正式启动方案征集，并计划于2026年9月下旬-10月中旬举办竞赛系列活动。
To thoroughly implement Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization, actively support Beijing’s strategic initiative to develop itself as a Garden City, the 2026 National Students Garden Design and Construction Competition hereby launches its call for submissions. The competition aims to further enhance the innovative design and hands-on construction capabilities of students and professionals in landscape architecture and related fields, while fostering a spirit of craftsmanship characterised by dedication and the pursuit of excellence. A series of competition-related events is scheduled to take place from late September to mid-October 2026.
本届竞赛选址于北京温榆河公园花溪锦田片区。北京温榆河公园作为一处文旅交融的大尺度生态空间，始终以生态为引领，将景观特色与运营功能特色进行有机融合，紧扣“温榆生活·潮玩文化”的战略定位，园区深耕教育、露营、运动、潮玩等主题板块，不断拓展消费场景、丰富休闲活动，致力于营造时尚潮流、全龄友好的户外生活氛围，引领游客沉浸式体验“一座公园与TA所倡导的生活方式”。
This year’s competition will be held in the Huaxi Jintian area of Beijing Wenyuhe Park. As a large-scale ecological space integrating culture and tourism, Beijing Wenyuhe Park has consistently placed ecology at the heart of its development, organically combining distinctive landscapes with diverse operational functions. Guided by its strategic positioning of "Wenyuhe Living and Trend Culture", the park has developed thematic programmes centred on education, camping, sports, and trend-led recreation. By continuously expanding consumption settings and enriching leisure activities, it seeks to create a fashionable, vibrant, and age-inclusive outdoor living environment, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in "a park and the lifestyle it advocates".
2023-2025年，全国大学生花园设计建造竞赛经评估审批，连续三年入选《全国普通高校大学生竞赛分析报告》（原《全国普通高校大学生竞赛排行榜》）竞赛目录，成为中国高等教育学会认可的唯一以花园设计与建造为主题的全国性高校专业赛事。2026年，竞赛再度启航。我们诚挚邀请国内外风景园林及相关专业高校师生共同参与，以设计回应时代需求，以建造践行专业理想，以青年创造力助力北京花园城市建设。
From 2023 to 2025, following formal assessment and approval, the National Students Garden Design and Construction Competition was included for three consecutive years in the competition catalogue of the Analysis Report on National College Student Competitions, formerly known as the National College Student Competition Rankings. It is the only national collegiate professional competition recognised by the China Association of Higher Education that is dedicated specifically to garden design and construction.In 2026, the competition begins a new chapter. We sincerely invite faculty members and students from universities in China and abroad who specialise in landscape architecture and related disciplines to participate. Through design, we seek to respond to the needs of our time; through construction, to put professional ideals into practice; and through the creativity of young people, to contribute to the development of Beijing as a Garden City.
01竞赛主题——花园里·遇见生活
IN THE GARDEN, MEET LIFE
在快节奏的城市生活中，人们越来越向往亲近自然、放松身心、交流相聚的户外生活。花园不应只是供人观赏的景观，更应成为承载休憩、运动、陪伴、社交和自然体验的生活场景。北京温榆河公园坚持生态引领，融合自然景观、公共活动与多元运营，围绕教育、营帐、运动、潮玩等内容，营造“轻户外、微度假、慢生活”的全龄友好空间，让游客在公园中体验一种健康、时尚而富有活力的生活方式。本届竞赛以温榆河公园为实践平台，鼓励参赛者从当代人的生活需求出发，通过富有创意和活力的设计与建造，探索花园与日常生活的多元连接，营造美观、实用、可参与、可持续的花园空间，让年轻人的想象转化为可感知、可体验、可推广的花园城市实践。
Amid the fast pace of urban life, people increasingly seek outdoor experiences that bring them closer to nature, restore physical and mental well-being, and create opportunities to gather and connect. A garden should be more than a landscape to be viewed; it should be a setting for rest, exercise, companionship, social interaction, and engagement with nature. Guided by ecological principles, Beijing Wenyuhe Park brings together natural landscapes, public activities, and diverse programmes and services. Through themes such as education, camping, sports, and contemporary recreation, it creates an age-inclusive environment for light outdoor activities, micro-vacations, and slow living, allowing visitors to experience a healthy, stylish, and vibrant way of life. Taking Wenyuhe Park as its site of practice, this competition encourages participants to respond to the needs of contemporary life through creative and dynamic design and construction. It invites them to explore the many connections between gardens and everyday living, and to create garden spaces that are attractive, practical, engaging, and sustainable—turning young people’s imagination into tangible, experiential, and replicable Garden City practices.
02竞赛组织形式
ORGANIZATION AND IMPLEMENTATION
竞赛组织分为3个阶段：
第一阶段：方案设计征集、评选，确定入选作品；
第二阶段：入选作品深化图纸绘制；
第三阶段：现场建造、评奖颁奖及展览。
The event will include 3 phases:
• Phase 1: Call for entries, jury review and shortlist selection.
• Phase 2: Construction drawings preparation.
• Phase 3: On-site construction, winner announcement, award ceremony and exhibition.

04竞赛建造方案征集
CALL FOR ENTRIES
本次花园设计建造竞赛以“花园里·遇见生活”为主题，要求参赛者设计并建造一座总占地面积不超过30m2的小型花园。建造内容应包括一处景观构筑物及与之配套的花园空间，其中，构筑物占地不得超过规定范围，其余空间用于植物配置及其他花园营造。构筑物与花园应作为一个整体进行设计，紧扣竞赛主题，营造兼具生态价值、休闲功能与互动体验的花园空间。
Under the theme"In the Garden, meet Life", this Garden Design and Construction Competition invites participants to design and build a small garden with a total projected footprint of no more than30 square metres. Each garden must comprise a landscape structure and an associated garden space. The footprint of the structure must remain within the prescribed limit, with the remaining area allocated to planting and other garden elements. The structure and garden should be conceived as an integrated whole and respond closely to the competition theme, creating a garden space that combines ecological value, recreational functions, and interactive experiences.
竞赛场地位于温榆河公园东园花溪锦田，南接礼贤广场，西侧为温榆·生活馆，东侧分布有温榆河HOLE in ONE飞盘高尔夫、ZooLand动物王国等休闲项目。场地西南距1号门约300米，西北距2号门约350米，南距4号门约550米，交通便捷，周边活动资源丰富，具有良好的人流导入条件和活动联动潜力。
The competition site is located in the Huaxi Jintian area of the eastern section of Beijing Wenyuhe Park. It adjoins Lixian Square to the south and the Wenyuhe Lifestyle Centre to the west, while nearby recreational attractions to the east include HOLE in ONE Wenyuhe Disc Golf and ZooLand Animal Kingdom. The site is approximately 300 metres northeast of Gate 1, 350 metres southeast of Gate 2, and 550 metres north of Gate 4. It is readily accessible and surrounded by a wide range of recreational facilities, offering favourable conditions for attracting visitors and strong potential for coordination with nearby activities.
主题阐述 Theme Statement
本次花园设计建造竞赛主题秉承北京花园城市建设理念，鼓励参赛者思考花园与日常生活的多元连接，营造兼具生态价值、使用功能与情感体验的花园空间。设计应结合温榆河公园的自然环境，关注人与自然、人与空间及人与人之间的互动关系，从社会、生态和生活需求等维度提出可持续的设计与建造构想。要求使用竹木等生物质材料及自选辅材搭建一个可进入或可参与的构筑小品。鼓励采用可循环利用或可降解的建筑及植物材料，使用可拆卸、非永久性的结构基础与连接方式，展示简洁、低碳且具有推广价值的花园营造方式。
The theme of this Competition is aligned with Beijing’s vision for Garden City development. Participants are encouraged to explore the diverse connections between gardens and everyday life and to create garden spaces that combine ecological value, practical function, and emotional resonance. Design proposals should respond to the natural environment of Beijing Wenyuhe Park and consider the interactions between people and nature, people and space, and people themselves. Sustainable design and construction strategies should be developed in response to social, ecological, and everyday living needs. Each proposal must include an accessible or interactive landscape structure constructed primarily from bio-based materials, such as bamboo and timber, together with appropriate supplementary materials selected by the participants. The use of recyclable or biodegradable construction and plant materials is encouraged, along with demountable, non-permanent foundation and connection systems. Proposals should demonstrate simple, low-carbon, and replicable approaches to garden design and construction that have the potential for wider application.
材料选择Material Selection
1）建造材料推荐从组委会提供的材料规格表中选择（见附件），以竹木等天然、可再生、可循环利用或可降解的生物质材料为主，不得使用一次性或无法拆卸再利用的材料。
2）作品主体构筑物应以生物质材料为核心，按重量计算的占比不得低于90%。成品螺栓、合页、金属固定件及其他标准化连接件仅可用于连接和固定，不计入材料重量核算。
3）所用材料应为市场可直接采购的标准成品，或经简单切割、裁切形成的半成品，确保按时运送到建造场地。禁止使用人工弯曲原竹、异形定制竹木构件、复杂非标构件等复杂定制化材料。
4）建造现场不得进行焊接、浇筑、高温塑形等复杂加工，作品应采用可拆卸、非永久性的装配式基础和连接方式完成搭建。
5）花园应充分体现植物的魅力与重要作用，并考虑竞赛活动秋季开幕的季相特征。植物材料仅限花卉和地被植物，鼓励选用体现北京地域特色的乡土植物，并须从组委会提供的植物材料表中选择；不宜使用其他植物材料或设置水面。
1）Construction materials are recommended to be selected from the Materials Specification List provided by the Organising Committee (see Appendix). Priority should be given to natural, renewable, recyclable, or biodegradable bio-based materials, such as bamboo and timber. Single-use materials and materials that cannot be dismantled and reused are prohibited.
2）Bio-based materials must form the principal material of the main structure and account for no less than 90 per cent of its total material weight. Prefabricated bolts, hinges, metal fasteners, and other standardised connectors may be used solely for connection and fixing purposes and will be excluded from the material weight calculation.
3）All materials should be standard products readily available on the market or semi-finished products produced through simple cutting or trimming, so that they can be delivered to the construction site on schedule. Complex customised materials, including artificially bent raw bamboo, specially shaped bamboo or timber components, and other complex non-standard elements, are prohibited.
4）Welding, concrete pouring, high-temperature forming, and other complex processing methods are not permitted on site. All works must be assembled using demountable, non-permanent prefabricated foundation systems and connection methods.
5）The garden should fully demonstrate the aesthetic and ecological value of plants, with due consideration given to the seasonal characteristics of the competition’s autumn opening. Plant materials are limited to flowering and ground-cover plants. The use of native species that reflect the regional character of Beijing is encouraged, and all plants must be selected from the Plant Materials List provided by the Organising Committee. Other types of plant material and water features should generally not be used.
场地、材料体积及造价限定
Site, material volume and cost limitations
1）单个花园总占地面积（投影面积）不得超过30平方米；
2）单个花园内主体结构投影面积不得超过20平方米；
3）构筑物高度不得超过6米；
4）应充分结合场地现状、周边植被条件及游人活动特征进行设计，避免对现状植物和场地环境造成破坏；
5）单个构筑物材料及相关加工费用不应超过2万元（不包括植物材料）。
1) The total projected footprint of each garden must not exceed 30 square meters.
2) The projected footprint of the main structure within each garden must not exceed 20 square meters.
3) The height of any structure must not exceed 6 meters.
4) Designs should respond to the existing site conditions, surrounding vegetation, and patterns of visitor activity, while avoiding damage to existing plants and the site environment.
5) The total cost of structural materials and related processing for each garden should not exceed RMB 20,000, excluding plant materials.
建造要求Construction Requirements：
1）建成的花园需在室外自然条件下摆放至少 1个月以上；
2）花园整体（特别是主体结构）应坚固、牢靠， 不可通过浇筑基础的方式与地面连接，需考虑整体结构在风雨天气的候耐受性；
3）主体结构应满足拼装、拆卸、运输和再次组装的要求。展览结束后，优秀作品可根据组委会安排迁移至指定场地继续展示；
4）需考虑设计、安装、使用和拆除过程中的安全性，避免造成意外伤害；
5）请按照以上规则进行花园设计，否则将被取消参赛资格。
1) The completed garden must remain outdoors under natural conditions for at least one month.
2) The garden as a whole, particularly its main structure, must be stable and secure. It must not be fixed to the ground using cast-in-place foundations, and the structure should be designed to withstand wind, rain, and other outdoor weather conditions.
3) The main structure must be suitable for assembly, dismantling, transportation, and reassembly. After the exhibition, selected outstanding works may be relocated to designated sites for continued display, subject to arrangements by the Organising Committee.
4) Safety must be fully considered throughout the design, installation, use, and dismantling processes to prevent accidents and injuries.
5) All designs must comply with the above requirements. Failure to do so may result in disqualification from the competition.
05竞赛参赛人员
PARTICIPANTS ELIGIBILITY
本次竞赛面向国内外风景园林及相关专业在校本科生及研究生，鼓励跨国、跨校、跨专业合作参赛。
所有组别均须以小组形式报名参加方案征集，小组人数限于5-7人（含5人与7人），每个小组须确定1-2名指导教师。同一参赛者仅可报名一组参赛，不可参与多组报名，且每组团队只能提交1份作品，否则所在组均将被取消参赛资格。
最终建造参赛名单需与竞赛报名名单一致，不得更改，每个小组现场建造须不得超过2名指导老师与7名小组建造成员，所有入围建造阶段的作品需由团队成员亲自完成现场搭建。
The competition is open to current undergraduate and graduate students majoring in landscape architecture and related fields, both domestically and internationally. Cross-border, cross-university and cross-disciplinary cooperation is strongly encouraged.
All participants must register in teams of 5 to 7 members (including both ends). Each team shall appoint 1 to 2 instructors. Each participant may join only one team, and each team may submit only one entry. Any violation of these rules will result in the disqualification of all teams involved.
The final construction team list must be identical to the registered team list and cannot be changed. On‑site construction shall be carried out by no more than 2 instructors and 7 student members per team. All projects selected for the construction phase must be physically built by the team members themselves.
06花园季竞赛与建造流程

1.报名要求
参赛学生自行组队，并填写报名表（见附件）。报名表须以Excel格式提交，文件命名为：“方案名称-报名表.xlsx”，示例：生活方式花园-报名表. xlsx。
2.方案格式要求
（1）设计方案图版
设计方案须排布于一张横向A0图版上，图版尺寸为高841mm、宽1189mm，采用JPG格式，分辨率为300 dpi，文件大小不超过30 MB。图版内容应包括设计图纸及设计说明，文字须采用中英双语或英语。图版中不得出现参赛者、指导教师、所属学校、单位名称及其他可能透露作者身份的信息。文件命名为：“方案名称-1.jpg”，示例：生活方式花园-1.jpg。
（2）材料清单图版
设计方案所采用的构筑材料表和植物材料表，包括所用主要材料、规格、数量、单价和总价，排布于一张横向A3图版上。图版尺寸为高297mm、宽420mm，采用JPG格式，分辨率为300 dpi，文件大小不超过10MB。文件命名为：“方案名称-2.jpg”，示例：生活方式花园-2.jpg。
（3）模型视频
参赛团队须制作一段时长不超过30秒的素模视频，仅展示花园的整体空间和结构模型，可配文字或解说。模型不得附加材质，不得进行渲染，也不得添加背景或其他美化效果。视频文件命名为：“方案名称-3.mp4”，示例：生活方式花园-3.mp4。
（4）材料造价表
参赛团队须根据附件3中提供的主材清单及价格提交一份材料造价表（见附件5），文件命名为：“方案名称-材料造价表.xlsx”，示例：生活方式花园-材料造价表.xlsx。
每个参赛团队须提交以下4份文件：1）报名表；2）设计方案图版；3）材料清单图版；4）结构模型视频；5）材料造价表。请将上述文件放到文件夹中，并统一压缩，压缩包以方案名称命名，压缩后的文件总大小不得超过50MB，并发送至组委会指定邮箱。
2026年8月31日23:59（北京时间），逾期提交的方案不予受理。
Participating students shall form their own teams and complete the Registration Form provided in the Appendix. The form must be submitted in Word format and named as follows:"Proposal Title-Registration Form. xlsx". Example:Lifestyle Garden-Registration Form. xlsx
(1) Design Proposal Board
The design proposal must be presented on one landscape-oriented A0 board measuring 841 mm in height and 1,189 mm in width. All text must be presented either bilingually in Chinese and English or entirely in English. The board should measure 297 mm in height and 420 mm in width and be submitted in JPG format at a resolution of 300 dpi, with a file size not exceeding 10 MB.

(3) Model Video
Each participating team must produce an untextured model video of no more than 30 seconds in length, showing only the overall spatial arrangement and structural model of the garden. Text captions or narration may be included. No materials or textures may be applied to the model, and rendering, backgrounds, or other visual enhancements are prohibited.

(4) Materials Cost Estimate
Each participating team must submit a Materials Cost Estimate (see Appendix 5) based on the list and prices of primary materials provided in Appendix 3.

Each participating team must submit the following four files: 1) Registration Form; 2) Design Proposal Board; 3) Materials Schedule Board; 4) Structural Model Video; 5) Materials Cost Estimate Form.
All five files must be placed in a single folder and compressed into one archive. The compressed file must be named after the proposal title and must not exceed 50 MB in total. It should then be sent to the email address designated by the Organising Committee.

方案评选

Entry review
竞赛组委会将组织专家评审团，从设计创意和建造可行性等方面对参赛方案进行综合评审，遴选出优胜方案进入现场建造阶段。花园建成后，专家评审团将根据作品的实际建造效果进行现场评审，最终确定一等奖、二等奖和三等奖获奖作品。
The Competition Organising Committee will convene a panel of experts to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the submitted proposals, with particular consideration given to design creativity and construction feasibility. The outstanding proposals will be selected to proceed to the on-site construction stage. Upon completion of the gardens, the expert panel will evaluate the completed works on site based on their actual construction outcomes and determine the winners of the Grand Prize, First Prize, and Second Prize.
2026年9月中下旬：
方案细化、调整与深化图纸绘制
Mid to late September 2026:
Detailed Design, Adjustment and Deepened Drawing
在开始深化设计前，组委会将根据评委和合作单位的意见，要求入选团队进行基于实际建造可行性的方案深化调整。由合作单位向入选团队提供技术指导，直至完成深化图纸绘制。
入选建造阶段的竞赛类作品均须绘制深化图纸，并调整和细化模型。图纸和模型需提交组委会。深化图纸文件为A3文本的PDF文件，包含平立剖深化图，设计及建造说明、设计尺寸、材料做法、节点构造、细部大样、预制构件、施工进度等。
Before the detailed design phase begins, the Organizing Committee will require the selected teams to refine and adjust their proposals in response to comments from the jury and partner organizations, with particular consideration given to construction feasibility. The partner organizations will provide technical guidance throughout the process until the detailed design drawings are completed.
All competition entries selected for the construction phase must prepare detailed design drawings and further refine their physical models. Both the drawings and the models must be submitted to the Organizing Committee. The detailed design package should be submitted as an A3-format PDF and include developed plans, elevations and sections, design and construction specifications, dimensions, material and construction methods, structural details, enlarged detail drawings, prefabricated components, and a construction schedule.
2026年9月下旬-10月中旬：
现场建造、评奖、颁奖仪式及展览
From late September to mid-October 2026:
Completion of on-site construction, awarding ceremony and exhibition
1）入选建造阶段的团队将于2026年9月下旬至10月中旬期间赴北京参加“温榆河—北林”国际花园设计建造大赛开营仪式，并开展花园现场建造。建造周期为3天。
2）参与现场建造的团队须携带1:10比例的花园模型到场。
3）现场建造完成后，组委会将组织国内外知名专家对建成作品进行现场评审，确定各奖项获奖团队。颁奖仪式上，特邀嘉宾将为获奖团队颁发证书。
4）同期，建造现场还将开展“特邀园”的建造与展示。
1) Teams selected for the construction stage will travel to Beijing between late September and mid-October 2026 to attend the opening ceremony of the Wenyuhe–BFU International Garden Design and Construction Competition and undertake the on-site construction of their gardens. The construction period will be three days.
2) Each team participating in the on-site construction must bring a 1:10 scale model of its garden.
3) Upon completion of the on-site construction, the Garden Season Organising Committee will convene a panel of distinguished experts from China and abroad to evaluate the completed gardens and determine the award winners. Certificates will be presented to the winning teams by invited guests at the awards ceremony.
4) During the same period, invited gardens will also be constructed and exhibited on site.
07竞赛参赛规则
REGULATIONS
1）参赛者同意并遵守本竞赛通知的内容及竞赛规则，违反规定者将被取消参赛资格；竞赛组委会对竞赛规则拥有最终解释权。
2）电子图纸中不得出现任何有关设计者姓名和设计机构的文字或图案，不符合规定者将被取消参赛资格。
3）竞赛组织方拥有参赛作品署名权以外的其它版权权利，包括但不限于发行权，展览权，信息网络传播权，出版权等，设计方具有署名权。
4）所有参赛者需确保自己所提交的作品为原创且未参加过其他竞赛。
5）参赛者不得接受竞赛评委任何建议与指导，违反规定者将被取消参赛资格。
6）现场建造及颁奖仪式等环节的具体日期可能受到不可抗力因素影响进行调整，请知悉。
1) Participants must agree on and adhere to the content of this notice as well as the competition rules. Violation of any rule will result in disqualification. The competition organizing committee reserves the right of final interpretation.
2) Digital drawings should not contain any text or graphics that reveal the designer’s name or affiliation. Submissions that fail to comply will be disqualified.
3) The competition organizing committee reserves all the rights other than authorship, including but not limited to rights of distribution, exhibition, dissemination via information networks, and publication. The designers reserve the right of authorship.
4) All participants must ensure that their submissions are original and have not been previously submitted to any other competitions.
5）Participants must not receive any guidance from the competition jury. Violation of this rule will lead to disqualification.
6）Please note that the dates of on-site construction and the award ceremony may be adjusted due to force majeure factors.
